New Renewable Technology championed by Lib Dem PPC

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Sat 4th Jul 2009

On 23rd June the Home Renewable Energy Grant was put to the Sustainable Development Panel. This grant as worded would have restricted the Grant to only two technologies: Solar hot water and heat pumps. Cllr Chappell proposed amending the scheme to include all government approved renewable technologies. After some debate this was accepted by the Panel and had subsequently been approved by the Council Cabinet
